Application Deadline: September 12, 2026 Applications are now open for the 2026 Claude Campus Ambassador Program. The programme supports student-led AI initiatives at universities and invites undergraduate students, graduate students, PhD students and postdocs to help create communities around AI learning, building and research. Selected ambassadors receive a $3,600 stipend , Anthropic API credits, access to Anthropic guest speakers and membership in a global ambassador community. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis , meaning interested candidates are encouraged to apply early. Program Duration This is a full school year program that runs from September 2026 to June 2027. The Anthropic Campus Ambassador Program The Anthropic Campus Ambassador Program is designed to support students and researchers who want to help expand AI-focused activities within their campus communities. Ambassadors can take leadership roles in organizing activities that introduce other students to artificial intelligence, encourage experimentation with AI tools and create opportunities for discussion and learning. The programme specifically supports three types of campus initiatives: Claude Builder Clubs Campus Conversations Science Workshops Requirements Students anywhere in the world can apply. However, the Grad and PhD programs may select from a smaller pool of schools during the initial pilot period. You’ll need to be 18+ and have work authorization in your country of study to participate in the program. For undergrads If you’re passionate about bringing AI fluency to your campus, apply to lead a Claude Builder Club. Collaborate with Anthropic to set up and lead a club for AI builders on your campus Organize technical and non-technical workshops featuring Anthropic guest speakers Run hackathons and demo nights for student builders Share regular updates, tips and resources (like API credits) with members Receive a USD3,600 cash stipend For grad students If you’re a STEM or humanities master’s student passionate about ensuring AI has a positive impact on education and society, apply to lead Claude Campus Conversations. Host discussion groups and events with fellow students on the big questions in AI and society Help students build AI fluency by creating spaces for students to showcase and discuss their Claude builds Visit the Anthropic office and connect with the global ambassador community Receive a USD3,600 cash stipend For PhDs and postdocs If you’re a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher using AI to advance research, apply to lead Claude Science workshops for fellow researchers. Lead a community of AI-native PhD scientists and postdocs on your campus Organize Claude for Science workshops and join speaker events with Anthropic’s math and science teams Build your expertise on how AI is changing science fields Get to engage with Anthropic scientists on workshops and research Receive a USD3,600 cash stipend Benefits All selected campus ambassadors receive a USD3,600 cash stipend subject to program terms. What Campus Ambassadors Do Selected ambassadors will support AI-related activities within their university communities. Claude Builder Clubs Ambassadors can help establish or run Claude Builder Clubs where students can explore AI through practical projects and experimentation. These clubs can provide opportunities for students to learn how AI tools can be applied to different ideas, projects and academic interests. Campus Conversations Ambassadors can organize Campus Conversations focused on discussions about artificial intelligence and its wider implications. These activities can create spaces for students to engage with AI-related topics, exchange perspectives and learn from others within their university communities. Science Workshops The programme also supports Science workshops, giving ambassadors an opportunity to facilitate activities focused on AI, science and research. These workshops can help connect students with emerging AI applications and encourage greater engagement with AI-related research. $3,600 Stipend Selected ambassadors receive a $3,600 stipend for their participation in the programme. This provides financial recognition for the time and effort ambassadors contribute to building AI communities and organizing campus activities. Anthropic API Credits Ambassadors also receive API credits , providing resources that can support experimentation and AI-related projects. For students interested in building with AI, access to API credits can provide an opportunity to explore practical applications and develop hands-on experience. Anthropic Guest Speakers Participants can also benefit from access to Anthropic guest speakers . This can create opportunities for campus communities to hear directly from people working in the AI field and engage with perspectives from the broader Anthropic ecosystem. Global Ambassador Community Selected participants become part of a global ambassador community . This provides an opportunity to connect with other campus leaders working on AI initiatives and potentially exchange ideas, experiences and approaches to community building.
